Celebrate the festivities with your favorite Liyue characters by playing spice challenges at Wanmin Restaurant, rocking carnival games at Chasm Carnival, creating wish tags at Yiyan Temple, and more! All participants will receive exclusive rewards for taking part in our celebration.Right after IRIS Interactive’s immersive experience is a Genshin Impact themed concert hosted by the San Gabriel Valley Symphony! Hu Tao

Hu Tao, the 77th Director of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor, is a mischievous prankster who loves living her life to the fullest. Despite her playful personality, Hu Tao takes her job very seriously when it comes to handling funerals and treats all her clients with utmost respect. For this festival, Hu Tao is bringing her playful personality to the Chasm Carnival.

Xingqiu

Xingqiu is a young noble who is passionate about literature, even writing his own books in his spare time. Even with his serious nature, Xingqiu still finds time to pull pranks on his best friend Chongyun. Xingqiu now brings along Chongyun to participate in the Chasm Carnival!

Chongyun

Chongyun is an exorcist from Liyue who comes from a family with a long tradition for exorcism. Chongyun was also born with an excess of positive energy, making him sensitive to anything warm such as spicy food and the sun. Chongyun is here at the Chasm Carnival from the extended invitation from Xingqiu.

Zhongli

Played by: @deftknot_

Zhongli is the Archon of Liyue who hides his identity by working as a consultant for the Wansheng Funeral Parlor. Though he walks amongst mortals, Zhongli does not hide his deep knowledge of Liyue’s history, contracts, and tradition. He now assists the Thousand Lights Festival to continue the traditions of the Lantern Rite from long ago.

Ningguang

Played by: @hyliancream

Ningguang is not only a sharp and intelligent business woman, but also serves as the Tianquan of the Liyue Qixing. Having built her immense wealth and influence from nothing, Ningguang now presides over Liyue from the Jade Chamber and works to preserve Liyue’s best interests. Ningguang continues fulfilling her duties at the Thousand Lights Festival.

Beidou

Beidou is the fearless captain of the Crux Fleet, famous for her strength, independence and bold personality. Despite her background as a pirate, Beidou is seen as a role model for her respectfulness and good judgment. Beidou has now arrived at the Thousand Lights Festival, invited by her good friend Ningguang.

Xiangling

Xiangling is the fiery head chef of Wanmin Restaurant who loves experimenting with bold and unconventional flavors. Xiangling’s unorthodox cooking has made her infamous across all of Teyvat, yet she still loves to share and cook good food for everyone. At the Thousand Lights Festival, Xiangling plans to bring her more experimental cooking for guests to try this year.

Shenhe

Though Shenhe comes from a long line of exorcists, she finds herself living in seclusion as she has developed violent tendencies from an incident as a young child. In spite of her struggles to connect with others, Shenhe has gradually learned to cherish the bonds she’s created with others. At the recommendation of Ganyu, Shenhe now works as a server for Wanmin Restaurant.

Lan Yan

Hailing from Chenyu Vale, Lan Yan has distinguished herself as a master rattan weaver among the local artisans. She can be found in the nearby forests, collecting rattan vines for her next piece. Lan Yan now somehow finds herself getting involved with Xiangling’s Wanmin stall at the Thousand Lights Festival.

Ganyu

Despite being an adeptus of Liyue, Ganyu has been diligently working as the secretary of the Liyue Qixing for thousands of years. While capable of executing any task she is given, the weight of her workload has made Ganyu anxious about its completion. Feeling nervous for this next task, Ganyu believes that the Aria must be played exactly as written.

Keqing

Keqing is known for her work ethic and perfectionism as the Yuheng of the Liyue Qixing. With her strong sense of responsibility, she feels it is her duty to ensure Liyue’s prosperity through her own efforts. Firm in her ideals, she acknowledges that the Aria must be played as written for the stability of Liyue.

Yanfei

Yanfei is a renowned legal advisor known across all of Liyue. Bringing forth her knowledge and evidence, she is capable of creating compelling arguments to handle any case she is tasked with. In this next case, Yanfei cites the “Terms and Conditions” of the Aria, which states that it must be played exactly as written.

Xianyun

Xianyun, also known as the Cloud Retainer, is a confident yet reserved adeptus of Liyue. Her expertise in mechanics has led her to creating all sorts of trinkets and new inventions. With her next invention, Xianyun believes that her “Supreme Resonance Amplifier" will improve the Aria and create a stronger resonance.

Yelan

Yelan is a mysterious, yet skilled operative who carries out her missions with precision. With her position at the Liyue Ministry of Affairs, she continues to work behind the scenes in order to protect Liyue’s best interests. Yelan’s next mission: evolve the Aria to create a stronger resonance for the protection of Liyue.

Yun Jin

Yun Jin is known throughout Liyue for her exceptional performances as a singer and playwright. Despite her traditional performances, Yun Jin believes that art must evolve and change, even listening to rock ‘n’ roll herself. Yun Jin’s unshakeable resolve moves her to change the Aria for the better.

Lumine

Lumine is a traveler from another world who finds herself in the world of Teyvat. Setting out on a journey to find her lost sibling, Lumine encounters and befriends many people along the way. Today, she takes a break in her journey to celebrate the Thousand Lights Festival with all her friends in Liyue.

Xiao

Xiao is an adeptus of Liyue, known for his stoic and cold demeanor. Due to his endless karmic debt, he chooses solitude to prevent others from being harmed by his suffering. Despite this, Xiao has kept his vow to protect Liyue and continues to do so with unwavering resolve.

Gaming

Gaming is a bright and energetic Wushou Dancer (Lion Dancer), inspired by the wushou dances he saw as a child. Gaming commits himself to practicing daily with the hopes one day of turning his dancing into a profession. Though he will not be performing for this festival, Gaming still enjoys the festivities the Lantern Rite brings every year.

Katheryne

Katheryne works as the receptionist for the Adventurer’s Guild, assigning quests and offering guidance to fellow adventurers. Mysteriously enough, Katheryne appears to have identical duplicates of herself working as the Guild’s receptionist in every nation. Katheryne has now arrived at the Thousand Lights Festival to provide assistance for its guests.
